By using Insight and Treatment Attitudes Questionnaires (ITAQ), The Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS) and Nurses′ Observation Scale for Inpatient Evaluation (NOSIE) after the first 3 months and 6 months of the intervention, in order to evaluate their results with their initial readings.@*Results@#The total scores of ITAQ, the total scores of BPRS, lacking in activity factor, reaction factor, hostile-suspiciousness factor, the total scores of NOSIE, total positive and negative factors before the intervention were (183.3±15.0) points, (71.7±10.9) points and (13.6±8.8) points; three months after intervention were (189.0±15.8) points, (75.3±11.1) points and (11.6±7.2) points; six months after intervention were (193.8 months after intervention were15.2) points, (71.8 ±9.6) points and (10.1±7.0) points. There were significant differences between the total score and the total negative factor score before and after treatment (F=43.244, 23.060, P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#The Precede-Proceed Model on medication management training in schizophrenic inpatients plays a positive role in promoting recovery and it is worth extending in clinical practice.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the effects of anti-β2 glycoprotein Ⅰ(β2GPⅠ) antibody on atherosclerosis in ApoE deficient mice.@*Methods@#A total of 24 male ApoE deficient mice of specific pathogen free level(six to eight-week old)were divided into normal control group, high fat diet group, high fat diet with anti-β2GPⅠ group, high fat diet with homologous control antibody group (n=6 each group). During the feeding period, mice were weighed every 2 weeks and were intraperitoneally injected with anti-β2GPⅠIgG (100 μg/per) and homologous control IgG (100 μg/per) according to grouping once a week. At the 16th week, the carotid arterial lipid deposition was observed by small animal magnetic resonance imaging, and blood samples were collected from internal vein of eyeball and the concentrations of TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C in plasma were measured after EDTA anticoagulant treatment. AI was calculated. The mice were then sacrificed and carotid arteries were removed, hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to observe the atherosclerotic lesions near the bifurcation of carotid artery and to calculate lesion size.@*Results@#(1) The body weight of mice was significantly higher in the high fat diet group compared to other 3 groups(all P<0.05), which was similar among high fat diet+ anti-β2GPⅠantibody group, high fat diet+ homologous control IgG group and normal diet control group (P>0.05). (2) After 16 weeks, plasma concentrations of TC and LDL-C in high fat diet group, high fat diet+ anti-β2GPⅠantibody group and high fat diet+ homologous control IgG group were significantly higher than in normal diet group (all P<0.05), there was no significant difference among high fat diet groups. The level of HDL-C was significantly higher in high fat diet control group than in normal diet control group. The concentration of TG was similar among groups. However, the value of AI in high fat+ anti-β2GPⅠ antibody group was significantly higher than in other groups (all P<0.05). (3) After 16 weeks, magnetic resonance imaging revealed that mice in high fat diet+ anti-β2GPⅠ antibody group had more obviously lipid deposition in the carotid arteries, it was significantly higher than that in the other groups, and the cross sections of carotid arteries stained with HE also demonstrated obviously carotid lumen stenosis and the percentage of carotid plaque area to carotid artery was (37.545±1.351)% in the high fat diet+ anti-β2GPⅠ antibody group, it was significantly higher than normal diet group ((1.235±0.460)%), high fat diet control group((11.635±2.751)%) and high fat diet+ homologous control IgG group ((11.815±2.623)%), all P<0.01. In high fat diet+ anti-β2GPⅠ antibody group, the area of carotid plaque was (3.121±0.124)×104 μm2, it was also significantly higher than normal diet group ((0.094±0.015)×104 μm2), high fat diet control group ((1.309±0.147)×104 μm2) and high fat diet+ homologous control IgG group ((1.027±0.228)×104μm2), all P<0.01.@*Conclusion@#Anti-β2GPⅠ antibody can promote atherosclerotic plaque formation in high fat diet fed ApoE deficient mice.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To investigate sodium intake via drug used by hypertensive inpatients during hospitalization. METH-ODS:290 inpatients with hypertension were collected from vasculocardiology department of our hospital between Jan. and Oct. 2013. The types of sodium-containing drugs and sodium-intake during hospitalization were analyzed statistically. RESULTS:275 pa-tients with hypertension were prescribed 38 sodium-containing drugs(94.8%);82.7% were administered by iv gtt with a average drug treatment course of 6.7 days(average hospitalization days of 6.8 days). Solvent containing sodium such as 0.9% Sodium chlo-ride injection and Creatine phosphate sodium for injection were the most sodium donors. 43.3% patients’sodium intake exceeded upper limit of 2 g/day recommended by WHO. CONCLUSIONS:Hypertensive inpatients are prescribed too much sodium-contain-ing drugs, and less intravenous solutions and less adjuvant medicines should be took to decrease sodium intake. Only when prospec-tive benefit are greater than risk, the patients can be prescribed sodium-containing drug prescription. At the same time, manufacturers should annotate the content of sodium in package inserts, which is convenient for physicians to choose drugs.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate anti-ulcerative drug use in patients undergoing arthroscopic operation against stress ulcer. Methosds A total of 297 patients undergoing arthroscopic operation during Jan. to Aug. 2013 in our hospital were recruited and retrospectively analyzed with Excellspreadsheet. Results Among 297 patients in the study, ninety-four patients (31.6%) used AUD before operation, most (94.9%) administered by intravenous, and drug utilization index was 1.35. Ninety-eight point nine patients used proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) in which Lansoprazole was prescribed most. Conclusion This study highlights the overuse of PPIs in patients undergoing arthroscopic operation.

ABSTRACT

Aim To study the effect and molecular mechanism of pretreatment with COPP on hypoxia/reoxygenation injury of H9c2 myocytes. Methods H9c2 myocytes model of hypoxia/reoxygenation injury was established and H9c2 myocytes were given COPP pretreatment before hypoxia/reoxygenation.Treatment with Znpp and all-trans retinoic acid(ATRA)inhibited HO-1 and Nrf2-ARE respectively. The level of LDH and CK in cell supernatants were measured.HO-1mRNA expression was analyzed by RT-PCR.HO-1 and Nrf2 protein expressions were analyzed by Western blot. Results Compared with hypoxia/reoxygenation group, the level of LDH and CK in COPP pretreatment groups decreased significantly and the level of HO-1mRNA,HO-1 protein expression and Nrf2 protein expression in the nucleus significantly increased.Znpp abolished protective effect of COPP pretreatment.ATRA blocked the nuclear accumulation of Nrf2 and decreased HO-1 protein expression that COPP pretreatment induced. Conclusions COPP can induce HO-1 overexpression which has protective effect on hypoxia/reoxygenation injury of H9c2 myocytes. Its mechanism is related to Nrf2-ARE signaling pathway.
